Jason M. Smith

Jason Smith is Senior Vice President and a board member at LNE Group, bringing more than 24 years of consulting experience to the firm. In his role, he leads LNE Group’s Strategic Advisory practice.

Jason delivers tailored strategies for clients across the United States, Europe, and Latin America, helping them meet diverse commercial and policy goals. His expertise spans government relations, public procurement, management consulting, biotechnology, market and project development, business and technology innovation, and government funding.

Jason works with innovative enterprises to turn technological assets into commercially viable products with significant market potential. A recognized authority on U.S. and European government incentive and grant programs, he has helped clients secure hundreds of millions of dollars in non-dilutive capital to advance project development and innovation priorities.

Before joining LNE Group in 2004, Jason held consulting, sales, and marketing roles with companies in a variety of industries. He has a proven ability to transform ideas into measurable ROI, create demand for new products and services, identify and penetrate niche markets, and quickly master new environments.

Jason holds both an M.B.A. and a B.B.A. in Marketing, Management, and International Business from Ohio University, and he also studied at the Hogeschool voor Economische Studies in Amsterdam, Netherlands. He and his family are devoted Cleveland sports fans and live in Avon, Ohio.
