The United States Department of Energy (DOE) Office of Vehicle Technology awarded a grant to an LNE Group client for research, development and demonstration of a novel self-inflating tire system for commercial trucks. The client wanted to focus exclusively on technology development so it engaged LNE Group to streamline reporting requirements and reduce the administrative burden of grant funding.
Approach
LNE Group manages grant reporting and administration for grant awardees of all sizes—Fortune 500 to pre-revenue start-ups—so our clients remain focused on program delivery to achieve project goals and objectives.
Since 2011, LNE Group has been retained by the client to provide grant Award Management & Administration support services for the award winning project. In this role, LNE Group’s duties include submitting reports to the DOE (e.g., monthly reimbursement reports, quarterly progress and financial reports, annual presentations and contributions to DOE publications, miscellaneous reports, and closeout reporting), as well as all mandatory interaction with DOE personnel (e.g., monthly conference calls, annual site visits, etc.).
Result
During the past five years, LNE Group has carried out grant management and administrative services in a tactful and professional manner and continues to serve the client as a valued project partner.
