Jason M. Smith

Jason Smith is LNE Group’s Vice President and has been with the company since 2004.

As Director of LNE Group’s Strategic Advisory practice, Jason manages domestic and international funding pursuit and business consulting engagements that achieve client objectives and deliver bottom line results.  Jason helps innovative enterprises to develop technological assets into viable products with large commercial potential.  Jason also manages client work to secure government funding in the United States and Europe.  Jason and his team have secured hundreds of millions of dollars to support client interests, including technology innovation and expansion projects.

Representative client consulting engagements include the design and implementation of government relations strategic plans; public and private sector technology innovation partner/customer search; development and execution of foreign direct investment; transatlantic government relations; lobbying strategies and tactics; strategic marketing and research; and integrated marketing communications.

Jason creates value for LNE Group clients through wide-ranging engagements across multiple industries important to America and the world, including: advanced materials; healthcare and life sciences; medical devices; medical imaging; advanced and alternative energy; energy efficiency; aerospace; information technology; semiconductors; power and propulsion; telecommunications; transportation and infrastructure; agriculture; and advanced manufacturing.

Prior to joining LNE Group, Jason served companies in consulting, sales, and marketing related roles.  Jason has an intuitive consulting talent with a record of performance and proven ability to create demand for new products and services; identify and target niche markets; rapidly come up to speed in new environments; and design and execute initiatives to achieve client goals.

Jason graduated from Ohio University with a B.B.A. in Marketing, Management, and International Business in 2000 and he earned an M.B.A. in 2003.  Jason attended the Hogeschool Voor Economische Studies – Amsterdam, Netherlands and has worked with the Centro Universitário de Ciências Gerenciais (UNA) – Belo Horizonte, Brazil.

Jason resides in Rocky River, Ohio with his wife Nurys.  In their spare time, Jason and Nurys enjoy traveling, sports and spending time with friends and family.
