Cheryl M. Arnold is Manager of Advocacy Services.  In her role, she oversees Opportunity Hunting and Relationship Development activities at the federal, state, and local levels.  She monitors and identifies grant and procurement opportunities and assists clients with developing relationships with government officials.

Cheryl helps clients secure meetings with elected officials and agencies.  She has shaped federal funding opportunities with the U.S. Department of Defense and U.S. Department of Energy to include clients’ technologies.  Cheryl secured language in the FY2014, FY2015, and FY2016 Energy and Water Appropriations Bill Report recommending the U.S. Department of Energy to advance a client’s technology.

Prior to joining LNE Group, Cheryl was the Senior Manager, Government Relations for the Council of Smaller Enterprises (COSE).  She advocated on behalf of small businesses in the areas of energy, health care, regulatory reform, taxation, and workers’ compensation.  She was a freelance reporter for the Quad City Times and served in the Corporate Communications Department for Trinity Regional Health System.  Cheryl has worked on various state and federal political campaigns.

Cheryl earned her B.A. degree in journalism & mass communication and political science from the University of Iowa.  She graduated from Case Western Reserve University School of Law where she served as an associate editor and managing editor of the Case Western Reserve University’s Journal of International Law.

Cheryl resides in Avon Lake, Ohio with her husband and daughter.  She enjoys cheering on the Iowa Hawkeyes, playing golf, and spending time with family and friends.  Cheryl is a member of the Professional Women’s Connection and a Trustee for the Avon Lake Public Library.
